Crystals Don’t Do Anything? Think Again!

Crystals Don’t Do Anything? Think Again!

When I first came up with the idea for Sprinkle Happiness, one of the first things that crossed my mind was the people around me, and those online, who don’t believe in the power of crystals. While I don’t feel the need to justify myself to anyone, I do want to share my thoughts on why crystals are more than just pretty stones.

Let’s clear something up – crystals do things. Whether you’re into the mystical or strictly sticking to the facts, these stones have a serious track record in science and tech.

Take ultrasound machines, for instance. They rely on piezoelectric crystals to work. When squeezed, these crystals create sound waves that help doctors see inside the body. Whether it’s mapping an unborn baby or detecting cancer, crystals make it happen. Science.

Then there’s hematite in MRI machines. This magnetic crystal is crucial in producing the magnetic fields needed to create detailed scans of our insides. From brain scans to finding torn ligaments, hematite helps save lives.

Crystals are in your tech, too! Quartz keeps your watch ticking by vibrating at a precise frequency, while diamonds are used in high-power lasers and cutting tools because of their extreme hardness and durability.

And let’s not forget silicon crystals in solar panels, turning sunlight into electricity, or liquid crystals in your TV screens, helping you stream Netflix every night.

Now, for the skeptics: when you set an intention with a crystal, you’re directing your focus and energy. Manifestation isn’t magic; it’s about belief, intention, and action. Crystals can serve as tools to amplify that energy and help turn thought into reality.

But let’s be real – they don’t have to do anything. If they sit on your shelf, looking pretty and admired for their natural beauty, that’s perfectly fine too. Sometimes, they’re just there to be a beautiful reminder of nature’s wonders. Whether they’re working hard in tech or just vibing on your bookshelf, crystals exist to be appreciated.
